Backpackit This is a neat service to keep track of your life online and you can access it anywhere there's internet service. One of my favorite features is the reminder service. You can set up reminders to be sent to your cell phone in advance. Pretty neat.
BankRate This is the site I check out when I want the latest mortgage or interest rates. They have free calculators for all sorts of financial situations. I also like to use them to compare credit card rates.
CafePress This is a neat website where you can create your own personalized stuff to sell or simply make for yourself. Their prices are good because they only make the product as it's sold so there's no inventory to cause high markups. They sell everything from shirts and hats to mugs and tote bags.
Egreetings This is where you go if you want to send cool free e-cards. You know, those silly, funny, or sappy cards everyone likes to email. :) This is the place to do it and it's free! I love free.
Epinions If you want unbiased opinions of goods or services from people who have tried them, then this is where you look. Before I buy anything, I always check here first.
Google Options Need information on the internet? This is the website to use. If you go to Google's home page and click on More, and then Even More, you find this page. From product searches to plain ole information, start with Google.

The Hunger Site This is actually a collection of several pages. There is a page for Hunger, Rain Forest, Breast Cancer, Child Literacy, Child Health Care, and Animal Rescue. You can click on a link on each of these pages and the sponsors will donate to the cause. It's completely free for you.
Zetaboards If you've ever wanted to set up a discussion area on the web, you need a message board or forum. This is different from a blog in the aspect that you want discussions with others, not just you typing away at the keyboard for others to read. You don't even need a website to do this; the boards are hosted for free. Zetaboards offer message boards in different colors and styles (called skins) available for whatever you may want to discuss on the internet. Just sign up and start talking.

eBay eBay is another one of those sites you know by name even if you've never used a computer before. Buy or Sell, old or new, you can find great deals here. Just one warning- make sure to read the user feedback before bidding on anything!
Equifax 3-in-1 Credit Report Equifax is the company I use to monitor my credit. Having received one of those lovely letters about my information having been sold, I immediately set up an account here. They send me emails if anything changes on my credit report.
GoDaddy GoDaddy is the place to buy your name on the internet. LOL What I mean is this is how you go about buying a www....com address or an email@....com name. They have the lowest price of any registrar I have run across and they have great customer service.

PayPal If you need to send money whether it be for buying an item on eBay or sending someone a gift of currency, this is the company to use and it's a no brainer to setup. Just be sure to do so a week before you need to send the money because they do verify your accounts and this takes a few days.
