Go to www.optoutprescreen.com and opt out of the credit card and insurance junk mail. The form will accept your basic information without your ssn or phone number filled in.

I found this set of instructions and it actually worked for my iPhone so I thought I would pass it on to any other frustrated users out there.


1.) Open any application

2.) Press and hold the power button until the slide to shutdown swipe bar appears.

3.) Release Power button

4.) Press and hold Home button lightly until screen returns to icon screen

5.) That's it.
